The Puerto de La Libertad was founded in 1927 and it is the first port of El Salvador, back in the 50’s it was an international tourist destination; its major attractive was Punta Roca’s wave, back in the days was know as the Latin American J Bay, it was visited mostly by nomad surfers that adventure themselves looking for perfect waves here in the south. |

Playa San Blas is located at km 40, between La Libertad main town and beaches like Tunco and Zonte, is very private and sandy beach all year around, you will find a few hostals and small hotels, private houses and uncrowd surf, at San Blas you can surf different spots like Cocal, a strong right pointbreak with several sections, the last one ends in a beach break in San Blas beach. |

Playa El Zonte is located in the Salvadorian Litoral’s Road at Km. 53; Playa El Zonte is 45 minutes away from the International Airport of Comalapa and 45 minutes away from the City of San Salvador. El Zonte is a little village divided by the mouth of a river that also forms a right point break with a rocky bottom. Inside the little village you will find many hostels, surf camps and hotels that are ideal for back packers |
